Design of this lamp was inspired by a Pattyn Products Company lamp, circa 1935.
The original Pattyn lamp (below) was crafted from aluminum, bakelite and glass. This version incorporates a brake rotor, resin, polycarbonate rings and aluminum. The center column pieces were crafted from colored, epoxy resin casts that were turned and polished on lathe.
